Decision Details

A decision in the case of World Athletics against Artyom Denmukhametov has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

On 14 June 2019 the AIU issued Mr Denmukhametov with a Notice of Charge for Prohibited Association, after the Athlete allegedly trained with a coach banned for life.

The Disciplinary Tribunal consisting of The Honourable Robert Décary QC as sole arbitrator, determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) had not been established pursuant to Article 2.10 of the IAAF Anti-Doping Rules and that the Notice of Charge sent to Mr Denmukhametov was invalid, as the conditions precedent outlined in the ADR had not been met.

Sport Resolutions is the independent secretariat to the World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal.
