11 National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) have been removed from a compliance watchlist by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

NADOs from Greece, Iran, Latvia, The Netherlands, Montenegro, Portugal, Spain, Uzbekistan, Brussels Community of Belgium, Flemish Community of Belgium and French Community of Belgium were all given four months to address non-conformities or risk being declared non-compliant. As all the necessary improvements were made in the allowed time, they have all now been removed from the watchlist as reported by WADA.

The non-conformities all related to the implementation of the 2021 WADA Code and the NADOs own anti-doping programmes.

NADOs from Romania and the German Community of Belgium remain on the watchlist and have until 28 February 2022 to make the requested improvements. Should they not make the improvements they will be declared non-compliant which will result in the nations being unable to host regional, continental or world championships arranged by major event organisations which are signed up to the World Anti-Doping Code. Russia, Indonesia, North Korea and Thailand are currently the only four countries with NADOs declared non-compliant.
