International Tennis Federation (ITF) v Ashley Kratzer

A decision in the case of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) against Ashley Kratzer has been issued by the ITF Independent Panel. Sport Resolutions is the independent secretariat to the Independent Panel.

On 18 March 2020, the ITF issued Ms Kratzer with a Notice of Charge for the Presence of Growth Hormone-Releasing Peptide 6 (GHRP-6) in a Sample collected In-Competition on 27 January 2020.

An Independent Tribunal was appointed to determine this matter, comprised of Carol Roberts (Chair), Professor Brian Lunn and Professor Isla Mackenzie. The Tribunal found that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) had been committed by Ms Kratzer under Article 2.1 of the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme, and sanctioned Ms Kratzer with a 4 year period of Ineligibility from 28 March 2020 (the date of her Provisional Suspension) until midnight on 27 March 2024.
