A decision in the matter of South Shields v The FA has been issued by an Arbitral Tribunal.

South Shields FC’s legal challenge against the FA following the decision of the FA Council to end the season with no promotion or relegation at Steps 3 to 7 of the National League System due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been dismissed by an arbitral tribunal. Sport Resolutions appointed The Rt Hon Lord Dyson as chair of the tribunal, which also consisted of Mr Charles Flint QC and Mr Andrew Green QC.
