We are delighted to be operating and administering an Ad Hoc Panel during the Rugby League World Cup 2021.

Sport Resolutions (SR) has populated, and will administer, an ad hoc panel that will be available from 13th October to 22nd November 2022 to adjudicate on any matters arising out of the World Cup requiring expedited determination.

The Ad Hoc Panel is comprised of members of SR’s highly regarded International Panel from countries including Australia, Brazil, England, Fiji, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Scotland, and Spain. The Panel will provide a wide range of relevant skill-sets and experience. Where hearings may be required, they will be conducted remotely.

Richard Harry, Chief Executive of Sport Resolutions, said: “We are delighted to be providing an ad hoc panel at the forthcoming Rugby League World Cup. We are sure that the event will be a huge success and we are honoured to be involved. Our mission is to provide independent, efficient and accessible dispute resolution services to everyone involved in sport, and we are prepared and ready to provide any assistance that may be required during the tournament.”

Dean Hardman, RLWC2021 Tournament Director, said: “It’s great to have Sport Resolutions on board with us. It’s important we deliver a world-class and authentic tournament – both for the RLWC2021 itself and for the future of our sport – and having a reputable company such as Sport Resolutions to support any dispute will stand us in good stead to achieve this.”

The Rugby League World Cup will be held in England from 15 October 2022 to 19 November 2022. It was originally due to be held between 23 October 2021 and 27 November 2021, however, due to the Covid-19 measurements in place at the time, the tournament was postponed.

The Rugby League World Cup 2021 will see the men's, women's and wheelchair tournaments played together for the first time.
