World Athletics v Ioannis Kyriazis

A decision in the matter of World Athletics v Ioannis Kyriazis has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

On 31st May 2019 Mr Kyriazis was charged by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) after a test of his A Sample reported the Presence of a Prohibited Metabolite which resulted in an Adverse Analytical Finding.

The panel, consisting of Raj Parker, Dominique Gavage and Patrick Grandjean found that Mr Kyriazis had committed Anti-Doping Rule Violations pursuant to Article 2.1 and Article 2.2 of the 2019 IAAF Anti-Doping Rules and imposed a four-year period of Ineligibility.
