World Athletics v Mark Otieno Odhiambo

A decision in the case of World Athletics against Mark Otieno Odhiambo has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

On 1 August 2022, the AIU issued Mr Odhiambo with a Notice of Charge for committing an Anti-Doping Rule Violation for the presence of a Prohibited Substance.

The Disciplinary Tribunal, consisting of Conny Jörneklint (Chair), Anna Bordiugova and Nyoh Mathias Dinga determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation had been established pursuant to Article 2.1 of the ADR and as a result, a two (2) year period of Ineligibility was imposed.
