Sport Resolutions reappointed to operate the National Anti-Doping Panel until 2028

Sport Resolutions has operated the National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) since its inception in 2007, providing a centralised, independent tribunal service for the adjudication of anti-doping disputes in the United Kingdom. We are delighted to confirm that the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has awarded us the contract to continue delivering this vital service from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028.

The outcome follows a robust competitive tender process, with applicants assessed on a range of key criteria including skills and expertise, delivery capacity, implementation methodology, quality assurance, project management, and social value.

Richard Harry, Chief Executive of Sport Resolutions, said: “We are proud to have been reappointed to deliver the NADP for another term. This recognition underscores our ongoing commitment to integrity, fairness, and independence in sport. We look forward to continuing our work supporting clean sport in the UK.”

The NADP remains the UK’s independent tribunal responsible for adjudicating anti-doping disputes in sport. It operates in accordance with its own procedural rules and is entirely independent of UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), which is responsible for investigating, charging, and prosecuting anti-doping cases.

Established under the United Kingdom’s Anti-Doping Policy and funded by DCMS, the NADP is a free service available to athletes and national governing bodies.

The panel is composed of 12 legal members, including the President -currently Kate Gallafent KC of Blackstone Chambers- and 16 specialist members, all of whom meet stringent eligibility criteria.

Sport Resolutions conducts a thorough review of all its panels every three years, including the NADP, to ensure that it retains the necessary skills and expertise to handle all doping matters referred to it.
