UK Anti-Doping is looking to hire a lawyer

UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) is recruiting a Lawyer to join its Legal and Regulatory Affairs Directorate and play an active role in maintaining an efficient Case Management function.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and stakeholders across sport and will be responsible for managing the prosecution of Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) matters through to conclusion, ensuring timely progression and compliance with the relevant Anti-Doping Rules.

The Lawyer will manage their own caseload, advise on investigations and, where required, appear as an advocate on behalf of UKAD before the National Anti-Doping Panel and other tribunals. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are essential, and the role is ideal for a lawyer who thrives on a combination of casework, written advocacy and oral advocacy.

The role will primarily focus on the timely progression of cases, drafting high-quality written submissions and correspondence, and preparing for and delivering persuasive oral advocacy where required.

The Lawyer will also be responsible for ensuring that the organisation receives high-quality legal advice in the most efficient manner.
