Kate Gallafent KC appointed as the new President of the National Anti-Doping Panel

We are delighted to announce that Kate Gallafent KC has been appointed as President of the National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) which is the United Kingdom’s independent tribunal responsible for adjudicating anti-doping disputes in sport.

Kate Gallafent KC has been a legal member of the NADP since 2015 and succeeds Charles Flint KC as President, commencing 1 October 2023.

The NADP is operated by Sport Resolutions in accordance with its own procedural rules and is independent of UK Anti-Doping, who are responsible for investigating, charging and prosecuting cases before the NADP.

Richard Harry, Sport Resolutions Chief Executive, said “It is a great pleasure to appoint Kate as President of the NADP. She is a leading sports lawyer and is well-known for her expertise in doping cases. I must also recognise the dedication of the outstanding Charles Flint KC who has been part of the NADP since its inception in 2007. He will be sorely missed by all involved with the NADP.”

Kate Gallafent KC said “I am indebted to Charles for his exceptional contribution to the fight against doping, and look forward to working together with all members of the NADP to maintain the exacting standards and level of professionalism that he has instilled in all of us.”
