Safeguarding Support for International Sport Organisations
Sport Resolutions provides independent safeguarding support for international sport organisations, helping to manage safeguarding disputes and concerns across jurisdictions and cultures. Our specialist panel brings together nearly 350 lawyers and leading experts across safeguarding, finance, medicine and sport administration, collectively spanning 32 languages.
Cases are administered by an experienced, approachable, and multi-lingual case management team, ensuring proceedings are managed efficiently and sensitively. This allows us to deliver independent, high-quality support, tailored to the needs of the global sport sector.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss any safeguarding requirements your organisation may have. Please contact the Sport Resolutions team for more information.
Referring a Safeguarding Case to Sport Resolutions
To refer a safeguarding case to Sport Resolutions, whether for arbitration, a disciplinary process or an investigation, the parties involved must consent to bring the matter to us.
This agreement may be:
- automatically incorporated into the relevant regulations, rules or contractual framework of the referring sport organisation; or
- established through an ad hoc arbitration agreement between the parties.
Jurisdiction is conferred on Sport Resolutions either through the applicable rules or regulations, or, where no such referral mechanism exists, by the agreement of the parties, for example through an arbitration or mediation agreement.
We work with several international federations to deliver independent safeguarding services, including:
- World Triathlon
- World Athletics
- International Tennis Federation
