UK Anti-Doping is recruiting for a Head of Case Management

UKAD is looking to recruit a Head of Case Management, joining the Legal Directorate to play an active role in leading and managing the Case Management team, ensuring all Anti-Doping Rule violation matters are progressed expeditiously and effectively in line with relevant rules. The successful candidate will lead the prosecution of individual ADRV cases, acting as an advocate on behalf of UKAD before the National Anti-Doping Panel and other tribunals.

They will be responsible for the line management and development of the Case Management Team and the operational management of UKAD’s case load.

Person specification

  • Solicitor or barrister with current practising certificate and a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience
  • Substantial experience of conducting advocacy before tribunals and/or courts
  • Substantial experience of managing a large contentious caseload in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Substantial experience of working with anti-doping rules and regulations, or similar sports or professional regulations
  • Substantial experience of working with investigations professionals and providing advice on evidence pursuant to anti-doping rules, similar sports or professional regulations, or criminal law.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing a team of legal professionals, including leadership in performance management
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for clean sport and a wider knowledge of sport
