World Athletics v Christian Coleman

World Athletics v Christian Coleman

A decision in the case of World Athletics against Christian Coleman has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

On 16 June 2020 the AIU issued Mr Coleman with a Notice of Charge for committing an Anti-Doping Rule Violation relating to Whereabouts Failures, consisting of two Missed Tests and a Filing Failure in a 12-month period.

The Disciplinary Panel composed of Charles Hollander QC, Hannu Kalkas and Dr Tanja Haug determined that an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) was established pursuant to Article 2.4 of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules. As a result, a two-year period of Ineligibility has been imposed upon Mr Coleman, ending 13 May 2022.
