A decision in the case of World Athletics against Vincent Kipsegechi Yator has been issued by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

On 25 November 2019 the Athletics Integrity Unit issued Mr Yator with a Notice of Charge for an Adverse Analytical Finding for Prednisone and Prednisolone.

Monty Hacker, the Panel Chair acting as sole arbitrator, determined that an anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) was established pursuant to Article 2.1 and Article 2.2 of the 2019 IAAF Rules, and as a result, a four-year period of ineligibility is imposed. The ADRV also leads to the disqualification of Mr Yator’s results from 10 April 2019 to 1 October 2019.

The secretariat to the Disciplinary Tribunal is managed by Sport Resolutions.
