Webinar Introduction:
Sport Resolutions, in association with Littleton Chambers, will be holding an event on independent reviews and investigations in sport on Thursday 9th September via Zoom Webinar.
Sport Resolutions panel members and Littleton Chambers barristers John Mehrzad QC, Lydia Banerjee and James Green will be delivering the webinar. The sessions will give first-hand insights into independent reviews and investigations within a sporting context.
The event is free of charge and will take place between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm (UK time) on Thursday 9th September.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions using Zoom’s Q&A.

John Mehrzad QCSeminar Host
John was on the panel which reviewed the culture and climate of British Cycling (2016-2017), chaired the review into the British Equestrian Federation (2017-18) and then chaired a review concerning UK Athletics (2019-20). He has also been an independent investigator for international federations. He is an independent panellist for the FA, LMA, CAS and Sport Resolutions, specialising in sports, employment and commercial law.

Lydia BanerjeeSeminar Host
Lydia was a member of the panel which recommended reform of the PFA on the departure of Gordon Taylor (2019-20). She has also conducted a number of investigations into allegations raised against various winter and summer Olympic disciplines. Concerns covered include governance, safeguarding and allegations of cheating. Lydia is an independent panellist for Sport Resolutions and British Shooting.

James GreenSeminar Host
James is a specialist employment and sports law practitioner. He has conducted several independent investigations, most recently into allegations against an employee of a national governing body.
